One design system for every screen: inside Galaxia, Open Social's platform redesign

How do you redesign a platform that thousands of people use every day without breaking anything? Design Lead Victoria Vorobiova shows how Open Social is rebuilding its interface with Galaxia, a design system that's accessible by default. Every component was mapped and ranked by where users look most and what the team can deliver well and soon. Then they built it one piece at a time. The new top menu is tested and live. Next up: group pages, menus inside groups, content cards and page headers. Every client will be invited to a test environment to try the new designs and help shape them. Which one are you most looking forward to? Recorded at Open Social Summit '26.
