The new model is over 5 metres long with a wheelbase of 2.9 metres. It is powered by a plug-in hybrid system comprising either a 2.0T or 1.5T engine; the 2.0T plug-in hybrid variant will feature a three-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a combined power output of 830 kW—approximately 1,128 horsepower. In terms of off-road capability, the vehicle is equipped with Geely’s proprietary GVMC dynamic control system, which the manufacturer claims enables the vehicle to pass the moose test at a speed of 80 kilometres per hour. Its AI-powered intelligent all-wheel-drive system automatically switches between front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive modes, and integrates functions such as crab-walk mode, on-the-spot U-turns, driving on a flat tyre and continuous automatic obstacle avoidance. It has a wading depth of 800 millimetres and is equipped with satellite communication capabilities.
