Join me on a bike ride and sketchbook session - Episode 3 of Bike and Draw

Join me for another bike ride and sketchbook session in Stockholms forests. Cycling and drawing combine so well. The cycling parts brings you to beautiful spots that I then want to draw. Sometimes I don't have time to sit down and work plein air so in those cases I just take a picture and draw from that at home. But there's nothing quite like hearing the wind in the trees, the birds sing and the bees buzz while you work in your sketchbook. This time I went out to bike and draw things didn't go quite as planned. I checked the weather report before I decided to go outside and it said it would rain at 12:00. So I thought I would go out at 13:00 or so when it stops raining. But it didn't rain at 12:00 and it was still looking very sunny. The weather report kept changing so I decided to just chance it. Of course before I even got properly in the forest it started raining and raining some more and some more. In between I got some sunny moments to draw in but I realized it wasn't the best day to try and had to head home. Of course I wanted to finish my drawing so I had to return to the same spot a few days later. I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching! my materials: bike: Kona sutra Ltd sketchbook: home made fountainpen: Pilot falcon sef and Pilot custom 823 f Music: Burgmüller, Friedrich - 7.
