When Amba and Ritika get to know about Ishaani, they try to keep it a secret from Ranveer. Subsequently, Falguni comes to know of her daughter too, but falls from the terrace and dies. Investigating the murder case of Falguni, Ranveer doubts Nirupa, but soon finds out that Nirupa is Ishaani. Knowing about Ritika's unborn child, Ishaani regrets and turns away from Ranveer. Later, she agrees to marry Shikhar. In a fit of rage, Ranveer also decides to marry Ritika on the same day of Shikhar-Ishaani's marriage. But soon, Ishaani comes to know about Ranveer not being the father of Ritika's unborn child. In order to converse with Ranveer, Ishaani begs Ritika to let her meet Ranveer. Confused Ritika denies and lies to Ishaani about her conversation with Ranveer. Later, Ishaani gets kidnapped by the goons of Ritika, as Ritika doesn't want Ishaani to ruin her wedding. However, Ishaani manages to flee from her trap during which Ritika gets revealed to Ishaani as the culprit and Chirag being father of Ritika's unborn child. Worried Ritika stabs Ishaani and drives away. Not losing her hope, Ishaani arrives at the wedding of Ranveer and Ritika and declares herself as the first wife of Ranveer, who is now back to resume her duties. Now with Ishaani and Rithika living in the same house it is a big suspense as to what will happen next. While Ishaani acts nicely with Rithika, she takes care not to let Rithika be with Ranveer in the hope that Rithika might tell out the truth. Amba is determined to separate Ishaani and Ranveer and helps Rithika. After few days in Devarsh's wedding, Ishaani and Ranveer sit together for the 'pooja' where Ranveer again ties the knot with her for the sake of the 'pooja' Rithika sees this and gets very angry but controls herself. After the 'pooja', Ishaani goes and slaps Rithika. Nobody understands why. Ranveer then drags Ishaani into the room and asks her for the reason. Ishaani manages by saying that she saw Rithika drinking and that it is not good for the baby. She tells Ranveer that Rithika is her friend and she thought she had the right to slap her.
