I Survived 30 Days Trapped on the 22nd Floor While the City Burned Below

DESCRIPTION: Theo Marsh becomes trapped on the twenty-second floor of Calloway Tower while fire and infected spread through the building below. He survives inside Ines’s apartment with Biscuit, communicates with Priya across Calloway Street, and lears from Lev how the tower is slowly losing water, power, and safe stairwells. When Lev goes downstairs searching for insulin, Theo shuts the stairwell door for ninety seconds before opening it again, leaving Lev scratched and forcing Theo to live with what he did. Theo later prepares to escape but discovers the lower floors are still burning, and Ines’s journal teaches him to stop treating every day as a countdown toward leaving. After thirty days, search and rescue reaches 22F because Priya escaped and told them exactly where Theo was waiting.
