A Dismembered Body Found in a Trash Bag | Secrets Of The Morgue

A series of trash bags containing the surgically dismembered remains of an unknown woman are discovered in Wisconsin. Badly decomposed and with her face mutilated beyond recognition, investigators have no way of identifying the victim, so they call in a forensic anthropologist. Using a 3D model of her skull, the team painstakingly reconstructs the victim's face. When they ultimately close in on her killer, it is a single drop of blood that brings the case to a dramatic conclusion. A picnic on the Wisconsin River turns into a nightmare when two young boys discover a bag containing a dismembered torso. As search teams recover more remains, forensic anthropologist Dr. Leslie Eisenberg uncovers evidence of a killer with disturbing surgical precision — and a deliberately disfigured face designed to keep the victim unidentified. With fingerprints and missing persons databases turning up nothing, investigators turn to groundbreaking 3D-printing technology, a first for Wisconsin law enforcement, to reconstruct the victim's skull and face. The breakthrough finally reveals her identity: Muvano Kupaza, a young Tanzanian woman. As detectives dig into her life, suspicion falls on the one man closest to her — and it's a single drop of blood behind a bathroom baseboard that ultimately convicts him.
