NJ Transit/Amtrak AM Rush Hour Action @ Metropark Station in Iselin, NJ (7/29/2026)

A cloudy and misty morning with a little sunshine on Wednesday July 29th, 2026 to railfan one of the busiest stations on the New Jersey section of the Northeast Corridor during the AM Rush Hour. Many trains heading to New York (Inbound) including NJ Transit NEC Local & Express and Jersey Ave & Trenton (Outbound). Many Amtrak trains as well in both directions including Amtrak’s Acela, Northeast Regional, Keystone and Carolinian. This is such a busy station that I can’t believe it’s designed as a local stop.
