Throne Of Darkness - Episode 15 - Toyotomi Assasinated

The Samurai have reached the final level of the Toyotomi Citadel, and after everything they have fought through, this part feels strangely quiet. The journey through the Toyotomi Bedroom is almost uneventful. There are only a handful of Honor Guards standing between the Samurai and the upper level, but the lack of resistance is almost more worrying than another massive battle. Where are the Toyotomi forces? Why has the citadel fallen so silent? The party pushes forward, searching the rooms and clearing the remaining enemies before finally making their way upstairs to meet Daimyo Hideyoshi. After battling through wave after wave of corrupted Samurai and the forces of the Dark Lord, they are expecting one final confrontation. Instead, they find silence. There is no battle. No guards rushing to defend their lord. No sound of fighting anywhere in the citadel. Something is terribly wrong. The Samurai eventually discover the truth: Daimyo Hideyoshi has been assassinated, and the evidence points toward the Mori Clan. What should have been the conclusion of the Toyotomi chapter instead becomes the beginning of a new mission. With their lord dead, there can be no forgiveness. The Samurai are ordered to travel to the Mori Citadel and uncover the truth behind the assassination while taking revenge on those responsible. The Toyotomi campaign has come to an unexpected end, but the war against the Dark Lord and his corrupted forces is far from over. The Samurai now have a new enemy, a new destination, and another citadel standing between them and justice. ⚔️ The Toyotomi Citadel has fallen. Daimyo Hideyoshi is dead. The Mori Clan must answer for it. What awaits the Samurai at the Mori Citadel? And just how deep does this conspiracy go?
