A morning walk through Funabashi, Chiba, tracing an older side of the city from busy railway stations to local shrines, historic landmarks and the fishing port. The journey begins around Keisei Funabashi Station and JR Funabashi Station before moving through the city streets toward Dōsojin Shrine and Mikura Inari Shrine. The route then continues to Fudō-in and Funabashi Daijingū, one of the most important historic landmarks in the area. Nearby, Tokiwa Shrine and the distinctive Tōmyōdai Lighthouse reveal another layer of Funabashi’s local history. From there, the walk reaches Daijingūshita Station before continuing toward Funabashi Fishing Port, where the atmosphere changes again from city streets and shrines to the working waterfront.
