A summer morning walk through Yatsu in Narashino, Chiba, where a small local station, shopping street and neighborhood park gradually open into the wide landscape of Yatsu Tidal Flat. The walk begins at Yatsu Station and continues through Yatsu Shopping Street before reaching Yatsu Park and the surrounding green spaces. From there, the atmosphere changes as the route enters the promenade around Yatsu Tidal Flat. The open wetland landscape, water, sky and natural surroundings create a strong contrast with the local streets just a few minutes away. The walk continues toward the Yatsu Nature Center before returning through the neighborhood toward Yatsu Station. Rather than a famous tourist destination, this route shows how everyday local Japan and nature can exist side by side — a local station, shopping street, park, tidal flat and quiet morning atmosphere all connected in one walk.
