The Library That Grows Crooked

In 1999, everyone said books were dying. Seattle hired Rem Koolhaas to build its new central library, and instead of defending the book, he took a dry list of everything a library does and pushed it crooked, into a living room for the whole city. Twenty years later, the book is still alive. The narration is the author's own voice, cloned with AI. #architecture #RemKoolhaas #SeattleCentralLibrary #OMA #libraries
