In 1972, Kisho Kurokawa built a tower in Ginza, Tokyo: 140 rooms of ten square metres, made in a factory, trucked in and hung on two concrete cores. He wanted the building to live like a tree, its rooms replaced as they aged. Fifty years later it was torn down, and its capsules flew out to San Francisco, New York and Hong Kong. The narration is the author's own voice, cloned with AI. #architecture #KishoKurokawa #NakaginCapsuleTower #Metabolism #Tokyo
