Beloved, praise the Lord! In this study series, we are exploring the life, calling, and anointing of David through a series of short and meaningful Bible studies. In today’s study, we reflect on a powerful truth: God values those whom others may consider insignificant. Before coming to Christ, we were separated from God because of sin. As Ephesians 2:12 reminds us, we were once without Christ, without hope, and without God in the world. But through our Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross, our relationship with God has been restored, and we have been brought into God’s household. 1 Corinthians 1:26–28 reminds us that God chooses the lowly, the despised, and the things that are considered insignificant by the world, so that His purpose and glory may be revealed. We see this truth clearly in the life of David. David was the youngest son of Jesse. His own father did not initially consider him among the sons who could be chosen as king, and even his older brother Eliab looked down upon him. Yet God had already chosen David and instructed Samuel to anoint him. 📖 1 Samuel 16:7 says: “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” David may have appeared insignificant in the eyes of his family, but he was significant in the eyes of God. In this study, we also consider Matthew 18 and the Lord Jesus’ teaching concerning the “little ones,” reminding us to be careful about how we view, treat, and judge those whom others may consider small or unimportant. One of the most interesting questions in this study comes from 1 Samuel 16:12. If God had already told Samuel that He does not judge according to outward appearance, why does the Bible specifically describe David’s outward appearance? 🤔 What do you think is the reason? Share your understanding in the comment section. We would love to hear your thoughts and learn together from God’s Word. If this study encourages you, please share it with your friends, brothers, sisters, and family members. We never know how God may use His Word to encourage someone who is discouraged and help them restore their relationship with Him. May this study help us understand that our significance does not come from how people see us, but from God’s purpose and calling for our lives. 🙏 All glory and honor belong to our Lord Jesus Christ. #DavidTheManOfGodsHeart #David #BibleStudy #BibleTeaching #ChristianMessage #HindiBibleStudy #1Samuel16 #1Samuel17 #GodLooksAtTheHeart #GodsCalling #DavidAndSaul #JesusChrist #ChristianFaith #BibleMessage #Anointing
