Paulding, OH 2001-130 Siren Test - 3/25/26

After Monroe county I decided to head down to Paulding county for their weekly test. I'm dating myself here but I've been to this siren site 3 times now. The first time back in 2014 the Thunderbolt had a broken rotator, the second time in 2017 it worked as intended, and now the third time to listen to this 130 that absolutely screams. Before the 130 winds up you can hear the 2T22 wind up at the fire station. It seems like Paulding county is on a kick of replacing several of the Thunderbolts in the county as the one north of town at the church (the white one) is also replaced with a 130. I did go and check on the at the fairgrounds and that one is still up. I'm not sure if they eventually plan on taking the two other thunderbolts down but they are powered off at this point. I believe they might be using them for parts. It also appears that many of the sirens in Paulding county now run for the full 3 minutes instead of the old one minute alert they used to do for test. Test are conducted every Wednesday at 1pm.
