We travel from Chamonix to Zermatt with one goal: to ski beneath the Matterhorn before a European heatwave takes away the snow. From the mountains around Mont Blanc to the car-free village of Zermatt, we make our way higher into the Alps, hoping the glacier will still have enough snow for one last ski.
