Making Evidence Work: An Introduction to Implementation Science

The University of Iowa College of Public Health Prevention Research Center for Rural Health (PRC-RH) and the Midwestern Public Health Training Center (MPHTC) have partnered for a webinar series focused on strengthening public health practice across a variety of topics. Implementation science examines how evidence-based programs and practices can be integrated into everyday public health work. By understanding what helps or hinders implementation, public health professionals can improve the reach, effectiveness, and sustainability of their programs.
