🎵 About the Artist Rainbow Theatre was an Australian progressive rock ensemble led by composer and multi-instrumentalist Julian Browning. The group combined progressive rock with classical and jazz influences, bringing together a rock rhythm section, keyboards, brass, woodwinds and strings. 📀 About the Album Released in 1976, Fantasy of Horses is the band’s second album, following The Armada (1975). It features four main compositions, including the multi-part suites “Dancer” and “Fantasy of Horses.” The arrangements combine guitar, keyboards, organ and a rock rhythm section with trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, trombone, flute, oboe, violins and cello, creating a richly orchestrated progressive rock sound.
