Shoplifter With Felony Warrants Lies Repeatedly to Pullman Police

On October 24, 2024, Walmart loss prevention agents called the Pullman Police Department to report a theft in progress. Officers were waiting by the exit door when a 27-year-old woman exited the store with $255.92 worth of stolen items in her purse. She then proceeded to give officers a fictitious name and date of birth in order to avoid being arrested for outstanding felony warrants. Meanwhile, officers detained and trespassed her male acquaintance. The woman's true identity was discovered and she was eventually transported to the Whitman County Jail.
