Bikepacking Cortes Island Part 1

Part 1 of my bikepacking adventure exploring Cortes Island on the beautiful coast of British Columbia. This ride had a little bit of everything — rugged coastal shoreline, massive old trees, quiet forest roads and some amazing trails winding through the island. Some sections were perfect for riding, while others turned into a bit more of an adventure than expected. Loaded up the bike and headed out to explore, with no shortage of incredible scenery along the way. Cortes is an amazing place to experience by bike, especially when you’re willing to see where the trails take you.
