"Save Changes" - Higgsfield Global AI Film Festival Submission

SAVE CHANGES? is a grounded sci-fi drama about a father who re-discovers his old digital camera that can rewrite his past. Every change offers a better life, but threatens the one he already has. Context: We wanted to see if AI could make a real drama. There’s sci-fi in the film, but we kept it grounded. The experiment was whether AI could sell small human moments and real emotion, not just make cool-looking shots. Narrative: It’s about regret, family, and the temptation to fix your past. The audience is anyone who likes realistic, Black Mirror-esque sci-fi that feels human before it feels futuristic. Visuals: Pittsburgh should look like Pittsburgh: worn-in, drab, ordinary, and real. We’re mixing traditional narrative photography with shitty early-2000s digital-camera footage. We’re also using AI to move characters through time and build believable families. Younger versions, parents, and children should actually look related. The requirements for the film festival were ALL AI generated.
