Thousands heard Jesus preach. Thousands ate the loaves and fish. Thousands were healed. So why were only about 120 people in the upper room after the resurrection?
In this message from Acts 1 and 2, Pastor Wayne Kinde looks at the small band of believers who stayed, prayed, and waited for the Holy Spirit, and how God used them to carry the gospel to the world. He traces the number 120 back to 2 Chronicles 5, where 120 priests brought the Ark into Solomon's temple and the glory cloud filled the house. That's no accident: the same presence that filled the temple filled the upper room, and as 1 Peter 2 says, it now fills you, God's royal priesthood. If you're in a season of waiting, don't sit on your hands. Fold them, pray, and watch God move.
