What if Barriss offee escaped and Joined Darth Maul's criminal empire?

Barriss and Maul are two characters who both ended up completely disillusioned with the systems around them, which makes this a surprisingly interesting pairing. What happens if Barriss escapes after the Temple bombing and ends up joining Maul’s growing criminal empire? This version looks at what she could bring to Maul’s side, how he might use her, and whether Barriss would really be willing to follow someone as dangerous as him. Do you think they’d actually work together, or turn on each other almost immediately? Subscribe to The Umbara Project for more alternate Clone Wars stories.
