Three hours of original Japanese zen music beside a small canal in Gion, Kyoto, on an autumn night,
where willows lean over the water and the windows of old wooden teahouses glow on its surface —
for deep sleep, study and quiet focus.
A cat dozes on a stone by the water, keeping you company.

祇園 GION
Gion is the old district of Kyoto around Yasaka Shrine,
known for its wooden teahouses and quiet stone streets.
Through the middle of it runs the Shirakawa, a shallow canal only a few steps wide.
Willows lean over its stone walls, and a small bridge called Tatsumi-bashi crosses it.
At night, the paper windows of the teahouses light up, and their glow moves slowly on the water.
The water has been running past these walls for a very long time.
It does not hurry, and it does not stop.
The cat found a warm stone by the canal and closed its eyes. It is still there, right beside you.
Rest now. The water will keep flowing all night.
