Great North Run focused:🏃‍♂️ One Last parkrun Before GNR13! | Heritage Coastal Path Easington 🌧️

The penultimate run before tomorrow’s Great North Run — and another Sun City meet at the 9th parkrun location: Heritage Coastal Path! 🏃‍♂️ This was our second visit to this beautiful parkrun. Last time, it was a freezing, icy day and we tackled the winter course. Today was the summer course… although you certainly wouldn’t have thought it with the driving rain on the way there! 🌧️😂 Set along the stunning Durham coastline, this is a really beautiful course, with some fantastic views along the way. The marshals were keeping themselves dry under their brilliant red tents, thanks to winning one of the parkrun donations from Dame Kelly Holmes. I don’t know if it was the tents that brought out the enthusiasm, but the marshals were certainly in great spirits and gave us plenty of support all the way around! ❤️👏 And now it’s time for the big one… 🏃‍♂️ THE GREAT NORTH RUN 📅 Sunday 13th 🎽 My 13th GNR!
