Nothing ever really goes right - Something's always going to get in the way somehow. It's frustrating to experience over and over again, I know, yet nobody has the option to dwell on things anymore; life is going by quickly, and we have to compromise with certain things about the world, whether we like them or not. Something might not come out as you planned, and that's alright, even if it does ruin your day or your week. A lot of stuff happens to just be out of our control. Relationships, Friendships, work, or side adventures each come with their own random events to get in our way and divert what we want to be happening. I'd personally say the biggest drawback to us all is money and time, but I've said that a hundred times over, so I digress. What I'm getting at here is all those things in your way as obstacles are hurdles you need to get past without getting yourself hung up on them; go with what comes at you. When you get hit by something that changes your world, you need to recognize that, understand the effects it's had, and set in motion the course of action you're going to take in response. If you've lost a job and you know you need to find another one fast - Don't sit around thinking about what could have been or wallowing in self-pity - Get right to looking. If your car broke down, sure, crying a bit might feel right; I bet I would too, but you've got to get yourself prepared for what's happening now that it's broken down and you need to resolve the issue, especially if your life revolves around the vehicle. Don't delay your next course of action. That can be said for anything. You want to make videos or stream or make content? Stop making excuses and just do it - My only exceptions to this are deaths, times of grieving, and highly traumatic events that are forever life-changing. If you're out here homeless, living on the street, but not doing anything to change that situation, then you're doing the opposite of what I'm saying here in this video. I've literally been there - But you cannot let yourself get stuck in that self-pity cycle I mentioned before. If you want to change that situation, you need to pick yourself up and decide what you're going to do next, like get a job for starters, or get your paperwork in order so you can even find one. Shelters are shit, yet they're still better than sleeping out on the streets; we don't have to make our lives even worse than they already are for no apparent reason. If you're sleeping on the couch at Mom Duke's for whatever reason and you are working or have been steadily looking for work with actual intent to get a job, that is one thing. If you are at the house every day, though, not looking for a job, not doing anything but taking up space, what are you doing, brother? Lock in. I know this place we live in is pretty shit, and working doesn't mean anything since we all retire at old age and die, but to be what people deem a functioning member of society, if you're able-bodied, you've at minimum got to be looking for a job, in between jobs, or something along those lines. If not, then all anyone might see you as is a bum, with no worth. It is up to you and only you to move past whatever put you in the situation you're in and elevate yourself in some way. I know unemployed life is pretty great in theory, but when you're worried about where you're going to sleep the next night or when you'll have your next drink of water, there isn't anything to want more than money, and to get money, one must work. Your girlfriend cheated on you? Cut it off; that's done, move on and forget her. Your boyfriend cheated on you? Cut it off; that's done, move on and forget him. They were never riding for you anyways, why should you even waste a second hurting over their fake ass. Some things, no, most things need to be quickly gotten over; life is too short to be hung up on some shit you did like 13 years ago in middle school, man, and you better believe whatever company you're working for doesn't actually give a shit about you. They'll have a replacement ready before you could land an interview for your next job. All in all fuck everybody except the people you care about fuck anything except the shit that matters, and I hope you all get rich as fuck since that seems like it would solve 99% of all our problems aside from likeability. Sorry for the yap today. Thank you for watching. Take care.
