It is inhabited by creative individuals. The population of Hale consists of four representatives of the civilized races: the Altmer poet Halion, the Argonian Tall-Trees-Falling, a former knight of the Order of the Thorn named Pyke, and his lover Zoe Malene. There are three houses in the settlement, each built on stilts and arranged in a semicircle facing the sea. Numerous plants characteristic of Mania grow near the houses. Near Zoe Malene's house, there is an easel, a chest with a palette and a brush lying on its lid, and a stool nearby. To reach the sea, one must pass under natural stone arches. A bridge is built across the bay, allowing passage further into the island. Since the settlement sits at the slope of a steep mountain range, this path is the only way out.
