From there, we pass through the small crossroads village of Weye to enjoy the quiet country air. A brief stop at the historic Wawnet Inn allows us to listen to the comforting sounds of a roadside tavern. Moving forward along the main road, the shadow of Fort Empire looms in the distance with its ancient stone walls. We then climb the hills to reach the settlement of Aleswell and admire the view of the surrounding valleys. The road soon leads us past the mysterious glowing arches of the Sercen ruins. After a long walk, we find a safe haven for travelers at the cozy Roxey Inn. Leaving the road for a moment, we explore the dark and misty entrance of Wellspring Cave. Our journey continues south toward the flooded ruins of Fort Magia standing silently near the water. We then make our way across the massive stone Bridge over the Upper Niben to see the river below. The path brings us to the peaceful farmlands of Pell's Gate nestled in the green woods. Shortly after, we cross the mossy stones of the historic Old Bridge over a small stream. The quiet trail takes us past the grim and legendary ruins of Vindasel. We also catch a glimpse of the forgotten overgrown walls of Fort Virtue along the path. Finally, we walk past the beautiful lakeside columns of Fanacasecul before finishing our long journey.
