Holy Face League Talk 4: Anna The Prophetess: A Prototype

Anna The Prophetess' life is meaningful and very applicable to us in our modern times. We can learn many things from her regarding life in general. Her background, suffering and chosen role can provide deep spiritual meaning and speak volumes to us even in our day and age. God delights in utilizing people the world passes over and Anna is a perfect example. She is also an example of how God values perseverance in prayer as well as how age is of no consequence to God. No matter the circumstances, we should never lose hope and can always have in Our God a reason for thanksgiving. We can also learn from Anna The Prophetess regarding the Holy Face devotion as she is a prototype and model for those of us honoring Our Lord in this way. Her background, focus on ongoing private and community prayer, and eventual evangelization of others after seeing the Face of Our Lord can further strengthen and embolden us. While she prayed for the redemption of Israel, we can pray for the reparation of mankind. Anna The Prophetess, please pray for us! This video was recorded at a meeting of a Holy Face League (Holy Face League of Overland Park, Kansas, USA, holyfaceop@gmail.com) along with the Holy Face League Talk 1, Holy Face League Talk 2, Holy Face League Talk 3, etc. series.
