Florida has more than twenty-one million people. These ten towns sit where almost none of them live. This video counts down the ten loneliest towns in Florida, ranked by how few people the 2020 Census counted within 25 miles of each town center, and tells what the records say about each one: a lost mill, a railroad, a net ban, a bridge, a hurricane, a closed grocery.
Not every town here is dying, and a few are not even small. The ranking measures nearby people, not services, and the video says so where it matters. Every population number comes from U.S. Census Bureau counts. When two sources disagree, the video says so. Narration is an AI voice.

HOW "LONELY" WAS MEASURED
For each place, we took its Census center point and added up every person in the 2020 Census blocks within 25 miles (straight-line distance). Fewer people nearby means a lonelier town. Cedar Key comes out first with fewer than 10,000.
