Complexity, Contingency, and Chaos... Reinventing Science from the Bottom Up

Dr. David Morgan is Director of Innovation Lab and Dean of Science at Ross School. He received his PhD in theoretical physics from the College of William and Mary, where his research involved the physics of neutrinos and hypothetical “strange quark matter.” From 1998 until 2002, he taught ninth and twelfth grade science at Ross School and developed the School’s capstone science course, “Cosmos, Life, Brain, and Mind.” For the next ten years, he taught physics, astronomy, and the history of science at Eugene Lang College.
