Sour Cherry Season | Slow Living, Persian Cooking, Homemade Lavashak, Albaloo Polo & Peaceful Summer Days Spend a cozy summer day with me turning fresh sour cherries into traditional Persian food, making homemade lavashak (fruit leather), cooking Albaloo Polo, enjoying a rainy night, caring for my plants, and finding joy in simple everyday moments at home. A quiet summer day becomes even more special during sour cherry season, when the kitchen is filled with beautiful colors, nostalgic flavors, homemade food, and little traditions that bring back warm childhood memories. I start the day preparing fresh sour cherries and making one of my favorite Persian dishes, Albaloo Polo — a beautiful sweet and sour rice dish made with sour cherries, saffron, and small homemade meatballs. It is one of those traditional Iranian meals that tastes just as special as it looks. While the rice is cooking, I use the rest of the sour cherries to make homemade lavashak (fruit leather). Making fruit leather always reminds me of childhood summers when my mom would prepare different kinds of dried fruit and lavashak for the colder months. Next morning , I slowly dry the homemade lavashak, make sour cherry tea, and enjoy it with reshteh khoshkar, one of our favorite traditional combinations . After a sudden summer rain, the next morning feels calm and fresh. I spend some peaceful time with Targol, enjoy a slow morning at home, shape my nails, and choose a cherry red nail polish inspired by everything I have been making in the kitchen. As summer slowly moves toward autumn, I also plant a few new seeds for the coming season and spend some time caring for my plants. Watching new leaves grow and tiny plants slowly become bigger is one of the simple things that always makes me happy. This video is not only about Persian food or sour cherries. It is about preserving little pieces of summer, enjoying seasonal traditions, cooking homemade food, caring for plants, and finding comfort and happiness in ordinary everyday moments. *CHAPTERS* 00:00 Intro 00:22 Sour Cherry Season & Slow Summer Cooking 01:44 Making Persian Albaloo Polo 04:00 Making Homemade Lavashak (Fruit Leather) 06:55 Summer Rain & A Peaceful Morning 08:01 Drying Lavashak & Sour Cherry Tea 09:01 Cozy Self-Care & Cherry Red Nails 10:00 Planting Autumn Seeds & Plant Care *Watch more cozy cooking, summer diaries, and slow living videos:* Life Lately | Cozy Cooking, Healthy Meals, Handmade Crafts & Quiet Moments   • Life Lately | Cozy Cooking, Healthy Meals,...   A Cozy Summer Diary | Homemade Food, Fresh Mulberries & Plant Care    • The Art of a Slow Summer Day | Cozy Summer...   A Slow Turkish Cooking Day at Home | Homemade Döner, Simit & Baklava From Scratch    • A Cozy Turkish Food Journey in My Kitchen ...   A Slow Summer Day in My Ghibli Kitchen | Cooking, Baking & Organizing    • A Slow Summer Day in My Ghibli Kitchen | C...   Hi, I’m Sana.
