A Copilot Studio tutorial from a real project. I build a Copilot Studio agent that handles user onboarding and user management in Entra ID from one sentence, and I show you exactly where the AI got the code wrong. This is Architect's Build Lab, Episode 1. I take a solution I built for a real enterprise, and rebuild it from an empty tenant: the result first, then every step. The original went live at a large enterprise, and the IT team loved it. Here I rebuild it in a demo tenant, so you can build it too. What gets built One Copilot Studio agent with generative orchestration and one tool, Run admin action Topics and tools: why this agent needs one well described tool instead of a topic for every task One Power Automate flow, built as an agent flow, with approvals for risky actions: password resets, role changes and leavers wait for the IT lead One Dataverse plugin in C# behind a Custom API, calling the Microsoft Graph API as its own identity 33 operations for user onboarding, user management, group management and Entra ID administration An audit table that records who asked and what happened Fifteen narrow Graph permissions, and never Directory.ReadWrite.All Built with Claude, reviewed by an architect. Claude Code wrote most of the plugin code from my spec, and I reviewed every function. Two of its mistakes are in the video: a build error caused by hidden Unicode characters, and a quiet permission problem that would have let the safety fence approve itself.
