IRM Museum Showcase Weekend 2026

This weekend was really wet. On this rainy weekend in September, I had originally planned to head out to IRM on Sunday for their annual Museum Showcase Weekend event, but I got a last minute decision to go on both days as both BNSF 9400 and the Nebraska Zephyr were running on the same day, so I wanted to get some shots of them together as much as I could, despite the rain. On Sunday, a lot more ran including a photo freight with CB&Q 9255 and a rare appearance of the Illinois Central EMU cars, which was the main reason why I wanted to go to IRM on that day. After that I decided to combine all my footage from this weekend into one video due to my last minute decision to head to IRM on Saturday, all in all, it was a fun weekend despite the rain not wanting to let up at all.
