Leaving the past behind and walking forward without looking back, we began our journey towards Kailash. The path was filled with devotion — people from across the world walking towards Kailash, and Tibetan pilgrims undertaking the journey through beautiful acts of prostration and surrender. 🙏🏽 Our Sherpas supported us throughout, lovingly preparing and serving packed lunches with dry fruits, apples, samosas and salt to help us through the demanding high-altitude journey. We received the beautiful West Face darshan, and soon the weather transformed — rain and snowfall surrounded us as we received an unforgettable glimpse of the North Face of Kailash. 🏔️ Some yatris experienced the challenges of low oxygen and had to turn back, while others continued at their own pace. The next morning, with devotion in our hearts, we walked towards Dolma La Pass, one of the toughest stretches of the Kora. From our 24 yatris, 16 successfully completed the entire Parikrama, by Mahadev's grace and Guru's grace. Every step brought its own lesson — about endurance, surrender, balance and faith. Many yatris later shared how the encouragement they received helped them continue when they were close to giving up. But at Magic Trips, we believe the real push and grace was always Mahadev's. We were simply instruments. 🙏🏽 The inner practices and sadhana throughout the journey also reminded us of something deeply valuable — that spirituality is not about life becoming free of challenges, but about finding balance within ourselves no matter what life brings. We feel blessed to have shared this journey with this beautiful group of meditators. Why did we record this journey? Not just to show a mountain or a destination, but to share a glimpse of what one experiences in the lap of Mahadev — the silence, devotion, struggle, surrender and grace.
