Elden Ring: Midra, Ancient Ruins of Rauh & +16 Blessing - Episode 56

Hi everyone, it’s me, FacelessNobody. I invite you to sit next to me and play Elden Ring together - one of my favorite games. I’ve already beaten this game a few times, so I can share some tips with you during our journey. We start this episode by finally fighting Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame. At first, we struggle a little bit while trying our sword and double-halberd setups, but then we decide to bring out our giant sunflower, the Shadow Sunflower Blossom. And suddenly, the fight becomes pretty funny. Two charged heavy attacks are enough to knock Midra down and give us an opportunity for a critical hit. So instead of an epic battle against the Lord of Frenzied Flame, we basically beat him into the ground with a gigantic flower. After dealing with Midra, we return to Shadow Keep, thinking that this time we are finally going to reach Messmer. Of course, Elden Ring has other plans for us. Instead, we discover a path leading into the Ancient Ruins of Rauh, so naturally we forget about Messmer for a while and start exploring another huge area. The ruins are basically one giant labyrinth filled with hidden paths, enemies, and places where it is very easy to completely lose your sense of direction. During our exploration, we also meet Crucible Knight Devonia, who seems to know pretty much every Crucible incantation ever invented. It turns into a really nice fight before we continue deeper into the ruins. Then we find another hippopotamus, and once again, this generous creature gives us a Scadutree Fragment after we kill it. Together with another fragment we find near a Site of Grace, we finally have enough to increase our Scadutree Blessing to +16. So now we are even stronger and hopefully a little more prepared for whatever the DLC decides to throw at us next. In the next episode, we are going to continue exploring the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. #eldenring #shadowoftheerdtree #eldenringdlc #midra #ancientruinsofrauh #soulslike #facelessnobody
