But more companies than ever have been switching to Rust, even those that had a full plan to do so just a few years ago but shelved the idea... until now. I wanted to really understand why all of this is happening right now, all at the same time. So I dug into every one of these rewrites (not everything is listed here - I went over way more that you'll learn about in the video): Why Meta ported their type checker to Rust when other languages would've been easier. What actually happened with the Bun rewrite (now that Jarred finally released the blog post). How companies like Linear got massive performance boosts without writing a single line of Rust.
