Kashmir's Forgotten Highway | The Mughal Road Unveiled

The road to Ladakh takes me onto one of the most fascinating roads in Jammu & Kashmir - the historic Mughal Road. Leaving Rajouri behind, I ride towards Shopian through the Pir Panjal range, following the Mughal Road and making my way towards Pir Gali, one of the highest points on this historic route. Once an important route connecting the Jammu region with Kashmir, the Mughal Road today offers an incredible motorcycle journey through remote mountains, forests and some of the most spectacular landscapes in the region. In this vlog, I ride from Rajouri to Shopian, cross the Mughal Road, reach Pir Gali and finally descend towards Kashmir Valley. Along the way I meet two locals who help me discover a few mesmerising viewpoints that I would have missed otherwise. Shoutout to Rahil & Shahbaaz for making this journey memorable!
