Attempting to encapsulate the essence of the Canadian duo's music with mere shortcuts would be a precarious endeavor. From their early experiments with sound and techniques, traversing through industrial iconography to the abrasive rhythms of hypnotic and deviant techno, and into the realms of acoustic ecology and sonic abstraction, Orphx has forged its path by merging diverse techniques and styles to offer a unique presence in the electro-industrial landscape.
