88EmuPlayer: Blood (1997) [Roland SC-88 Pro]

https://theusualsuspects.io/downloads... https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/softwa... 88EmuPlayer is a brand-new MIDI module emulator by The Usual Suspects based on Nukeykt's Nuked SC-55. It accurately emulates a number of old modules, including the Roland SC-55, SC-88, SC-88VL, SC-88 Pro, SC-8850, and the GM modes of the Roland JV-1080 and XV-3080. Here is 88Emu played through LoopMIDI in Blood using the Raze 1.11.0b source port. Bizarrely enough, the MIDI playback in Blood seems to be broken by default. I had to patch the sounds.rff file with this fix from VOGONS and Lunar IPS in order to make it work: https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?... I greatly prefer the MIDI soundtrack over the CD audio, as the CD tracks are reused a bit too much. Not to mention, the MIDI for Dark Carnival is replaced with something much more grating. Speaking of which, I will say that the "Music Box" patch on the Roland SC-88 Pro is not as good as the one on the SC-55. Not that it's bad or anything; the SC-55 one is just too iconic to replace.
