ROWAN CHOIR — BLACK MOON CEREMONY (1971) — Dark British Psychedelic Instrumental Rock Garden of Hollow Glass is a fictional 1971 instrumental British acid folk album by Rowan Choir. Built around fingerpicked acoustic guitars, recorder, dulcimer, harmonium, bowed strings, frame drums, bells and other organic textures, the album explores a darker and more ritualistic side of British folk psychedelia. Its atmosphere moves through moonlit gardens, ancient trees, candlelit circles, abandoned glasshouses and misty countryside paths — mysterious, pastoral, hypnotic and slightly unsettling. The music draws inspiration from obscure private-press acid folk recordings of the early 1970s, with a raw analog character and an intimate, ritual-like feeling.
