Croatia trip video in 4K I have made during my trip in 2025 to Zadar (Zara) in Croatia, including aerial viers taken with my drone. Zadar, set on the Dalmatian coast, is renowned for its breathtaking sunsets and rich history. At the heart of the old town stands the iconic Church of St. Donatus, the impressive Roman Forum, and the beautiful Cathedral of St. Anastasia with its bell tower. The city’s heritage is also reflected in the Venetian Walls (UNESCO World Heritage) and the monumental Land Gate. Strolling through Zadar means enjoying the lively Narodni trg, the charming Petar Zoranić Square, and the bustling Široka ulica (Kalelarga), the city’s most famous street lined with cafés, shops, and vibrant life. Located on the Adriatic Sea in northern Dalmatia, it is the administrative center of Zadar County and the wider northern Dalmatia region. Covering about 25 km² and with around 75,000 inhabitants, it is the second-largest city in Dalmatia and the fifth in Croatia. Today, Zadar is an important political, cultural, commercial, industrial, educational, and transport hub. With its rich historical heritage, it has become one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations, described as the “entertainment center of the Adriatic” and “Croatia’s new capital of cool.” Its Venetian fortifications were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
