Ikan Kekek, arr. Tracy Wong | Orde-e, arr. Maria Theresa Vizconde-Roldan

We’ll now travel to Malaysia and the Philippines. Ikan Kekek, a folk song from Malaysia, offers a vivid description of a fish and celebrates the joy of traveling home together with a loved one. Orde-e, is a folk song from the Cordilleras mountain region of the Philippines. The piece starts with animal calls at sunrise and moves to daytime where you’ll hear the playful sounds of children, and finally peace returns at sunset.
