This train ride begins at the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad train station in Cumberland MD and rides out to Helmstetter's Curve and back. (1) The video shows the BRIGHT RED No. 561 diesel locomotive arriving at and riding along the curve at Helmstetter's Curve. The No. 561 then attaches the end railcar of the No. 1309 train. There is a closeup of the crew assisting in the connection. Then, the No. 561 appears leading the train as it begins its journey back to WMSR Cumberland Station. The No. 1309 STEAM LOCOMOTIVE is seen at the END OF THE TRAIN and is SPOUTING STEAM.
