Scottish Highlands Loop- Day 13

ℹ️Stats Date: July 2nd 2025 Weather: Mostly nicely and sunny during the day, and not too warm. Rained overnight (doesn't it always?). From: Glen Affric 'Youth Hostel' Start time: 8:00 am To: Cannich End time: 3:30 pm Accommodation: campground Terrain: Not as flat as the Great Glen Way, but pretty easy stuff. Lots of traversing along lakes on quiet forestry tracks. 🥾Miles: 21 miles 🦶Steps: 26,556 🏔 Ascent: 1745 feet Total miles on the SHL: 166 Subjective feeling out of 10 on: Scenery: 6/10- Pleasant, but not epic. Forestry tracks have a pretty low ceiling aesthetically... Difficulty: 3/10 - If I were going to take anyone on their first 21-mile hike, this wouldn't be a bad choice. Solitude: 8/10 - Only saw people at Dog Falls and in Cannich.
