Mabopane's forgotten stadium

One of Mabopane’s most iconic grounds, the stadium was deemed unfit for use in the build-up to the 2010 Fifa World Cup. Besides concerns about its structural integrity, cables have been stolen, there’s overgrown vegetation and the grass is not well-maintained and equipment has been vandalised.
