Mt. Hough: More FUN than Downieville?! This Hidden Gem is One of My Favorite Descents! There I said it! Mt. Hough is such a great place for an epic ride: crazy fast flowy trail with 12 miles and 4,000 ft of descent. Beautiful views up top, highlighted by Crystal lake. It's less steep and chunk than Downieville, but if you enjoy going FAST, this is the place to be.
