Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC) Special Saloons & Modsports - Thruxton 18/5/24, Modsports Elan, rnd 1

The Classic Sports Car Club's visit to Thruxton on 18th of May 2024. This is race 1 for the Special Saloons & Modsports, but we were amalgamated with the Future Classics series at this meeting, although run as two separate races. A half spin at the chicane sadly resulted in a slight coming together with the TVR Tuscan - I was later told there was oil down there, and on the following lap, the slippery surface flags were being waved, albeit too late for me! Managed to recover and still got 2nd in class.
