This weekend marks a year since the US president’s Gaza Peace Plan, billed as the definitive end to the war on Gaza, took effect. Yet Gazans in the war-torn Strip continue to face Israeli attacks, which have killed more than 1,400 people since the ceasefire took hold. In August, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said he rejected the plan and outright refused an Israeli withdrawal.
