Karnataka Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar said the legal fight against alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process will continue in the Supreme Court. Shivakumar also responded to the political controversy surrounding Rahul Gandhi’s gesture during a protest in Delhi, saying that Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi had supported him and that minor incidents should not be turned into political issues. Speaking about the festive season, he welcomed the grandeur of Mangaluru Dasara at Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple and highlighted its role in bringing communities together. He also referred to the participation of coastal Karnataka’s traditional Kambala buffaloes and Tulu Nadu tableaux in the Mysuru Dasara celebrations. Assembly Speaker U. T. Khader, responding to a question about an investigation involving a former Chief Minister, said the investigation was underway and that the facts would emerge after its completion.
