From Endless Rice Fields to a 14m² Room | Back to City Life

After three months of summer break in the countryside, it was finally time to head back to the city. This time, I came back to my tiny 14m² room, unpacked my things, went to the market, cooked, and slowly got back into my usual routine. Coming back to the city always feels a little strange. Just a few days ago, I was surrounded by endless rice fields, green gardens, sunlight, and plenty of space. Now, everything feels much smaller. It also made me think about the first time I came to the capital 10 years ago as an 18-year-old university student Ten years later, I’m still here. I’ve become stronger, more independent, and more confident that I can build a life for myself wherever I am.
